Edubeacon

Over recent weeks I’ve been involved in a collaborative project between a group of Year 7 students and their teacher here in Mildura and a teacher I met while at NECC 2008 in July.  It’s been a real learning curve and a great experience for all of us.  I’ll be presenting on it at the VITTA conference on Monday.

In the meantime, this is just a quick post to share a video I was introduced to through Bob Sprankle’s Seedings podcast.  Seedlings is a very easy listening podcast and a member of the EdTechTalk stable – packed full of good information.  David Truss mentionned this video is his recent interview on the show.  It was created by Heidi Hass Gable, a mother from the school parents group who comes at the topic of a child’s education from a family perspective.  Heidi has produced a video providing much food for thought entitled ‘What I want for my children’.
